2015-616 ORDINANCE NO. 2015 -616
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of rezoning property at 1025 N. Washington
Street from B3, General Commercial District, to 01, Office /Residence District; and 1515 Ashland
Avenue from R2, Limited General Residence District, to 01, Office /Residence District, with a
penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property (addressed as 1025 North
Washington Street) is hereby changed from B3, General Commercial District, to 01, Office /Residence
District:
Property located in the NE 1 /4 of Section 26, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4 P.M., City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin described as follows:
Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Ashland Subdivision, as recorded on April 7, 1911, Volume 7, Page 44 of
Rock County Plats, Rock County, Wisconsin.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property (addressed as 1515 Ashland
Avenue) is hereby changed from R2, Limited General Residence District, to 01, Office /Residence
District:
Property located in the NE %4 of Section 26, T.3N., R.12E. of the 4 P.M., City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin described as follows:
Lots 9 and 10 of Ashland Subdivision as recorded on April 7, 1911, Volume 7, Page 44 of Rock
County Plats, Rock County, Wisconsin; excluding the west 8 feet.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the
public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
