Whereas, James P. Porter is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
twenty -eight years; retiring as a Customer Serviceperson with the City of Janesville
Public WorksNVater Utilities Division; and
Whereas, during James P. Porter's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to
the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity, honesty,
and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to James P. Porter for
his twenty -eight years of loyal public service.
