RESOLUTION NO. 2005-233
Whereas, Christine C. Sperling is retiring from City of Janesville
employment after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the
community for twenty-eight years; and
Whereas, during Christine C. Sperling's employment with the City of
Janesville, she provided extended terms of service to the Personnel Department,
Engineering Department, Public Works Administration and serving in her last five
years as an Executive Secretary in the City Manager's Office, before retiring; and
Whereas, Christine C. Sperling's broad knowledge of city operations and
functions and her willingness to assist her fellow employees and the public provided
outstanding customer service; and
Whereas, during Christine C. Sperling's employment with the City of
Janesville, she demonstrated a conscientious devotion to duty and a commitment to
excellence, which she performed with exemplary dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of
Janesville, through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to
Christine C. Sperling for her twenty-eight years of loyal public service.
