2015-1187 RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -1187
A resolution recognizing DuWayne Severson for his loyal and conscientious
service to the City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, DuWayne Severson served the City of Janesville from 2012 to 2015 as a
member of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Severson served as Council President in 2014; and
WHEREAS, during his term of office, Mr. Severson served as a member of various
boards, committees, and commissions in the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Severson's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their
welfare has characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Severson has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THISEFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to DuWayne Severson in sincere appreciation for his loyal
and conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
