2015-1183 CITY OF JANESVILLE
RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -1183
A Resolution authorizing a supplemental budget appropriation for calendar year 2015 to provide an
incentive to move the historic house at 327 Milton Avenue
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Janesville adopted a 2015 General Fund budget
including expenditures totaling $44,295,325; and,
WHEREAS, such budget was directed by Council vote to be exceeded by $28,500 in calendar year
2015 for the historic house - moving incentive; and,
WHEREAS, maintaining our history is of importance to the residents within the City of Janesville; and
WHEREAS, Common Council Policy 58, Part 6 requires the Council's approval to amend the current
year's budget to provide for a new or significantly expanded program activity; and
WHEREAS, it is within the authority of the Common Council, pursuant to Section 65.90(5)(a),
Wisconsin Statutes to authorize and direct such supplemental appropriations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Common Council of the City of Janesville that they
hereby authorize and direct that a supplemental budget appropriation from the General Fund
Undesignated Balance to be made in an amount of $28,500 and placed into the amended 2015 Misc
General Fund Contingency budget accounts.
