WHEREAS, William .1. McRoberts has retired from the City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the City of .1anesville and the community for twenty-six years
as a Firefighter, Paramedic, Driver, Lieutenant, and Captain; retiring as a Shift Commander with the
Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, during William J. McRoberts' employment with the City of .1anesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of ]anesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE lq' RESOLVED that the people of the City of .1anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to William .1. McRoberts for his twenty-six years
of loyal public service.
