WHEREAS, Douglas S. Woodman has retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for twenty-one years,
serving his entire career on the night shift, retiring as a Police Sergeant with the Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, during Douglas S. Woodman's employment with the City of Janesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of
his position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ~1' RESOLVED that the people of the City of 3anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Douglas S. Woodman for his twenty-one years
of loyal public service.
