2014-579 ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -579 An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property located along South US Highway 51 south of the STH 11 Bypass to M1 and B4 upon annexation. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established as M1, Light Industrial District: Part of NE 1/4 of the SE % of Section 14, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at a DOT Disk at the East 1/4 corner of said Section 14, thence N.85 °22'29 "W 76.35 feet to a point along the south roadway line of WI State Highway 11 and also the Point of Beginning; thence continuing N.85 °22'29 "W 377.43 feet along said line; thence N.77 °32'45 "W 30.82 feet along said line; thence N.84 °36'10 "W 164.27 feet along said line; thence S.0 °6'32 "E 54.19 feet to the NW corner of CSM 2009824, as recorded in Volume 36, Pages 227 -230; thence S.0 °8'31 "E 367.43 feet; thence S.89 °39'46 "E 314.0 feet; thence N.0 °8'31 "W 103.26 feet; thence S.89 °37'36 "E 255.80 feet; thence N.0 °9'7 "W 269.36 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 4.57 Acres. SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is established as B4, Business Highway District: Part of NE 1 /4 of the SE % of Section 14, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM Town of Rock, and part of NW % of the SW '/4 of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th PM Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Beginning at a DOT Disk at the East 1 /4 corner of said Section 14, thence N.85 °22'29 "W 76.35 feet to a point along the south roadway line of WI State Highway 11; thence S.0 °9'7 "E 169.85 feet; thence S.89 °0'15 "E 150.98 feet to a point on the NE corner of CSM 1924897, as recorded in Volume 34, Pages 262 -266; thence S.89 °0'9 "E 123.15 feet; thence N.0 °9'47 "W 165.0 feet; thence N.89 °0'7 "W 198.0 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 1.04 Acres. SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
