Richard J. Thayer
Whereas, Richard J. Thayer is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the
community as Circulation Assistant, Reference Assistant, Reference Librarian, and
Head of Reference with the Hedberg Public Library for 33 years; and
Whereas, during Richard J. Thayer's employment with the City of Janesville,
he provided exemplary service and demonstrated conscientious devotion
to the duties of his positions, which he performed with dedication, patience,
humor, and skill; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville, through
the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Richard J. Thayer for his thirty-
three years of loyal public service.
