2014-570 ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -570 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 2909 Kellogg Avenue from R1 to R3, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from R1, Single and Two - Family Residence District, to R3, General Residence District. Part of the southeast 1 /4 of the fractional southeast % of Section 10, Township 2 North, Range 12 East, City of Janesville, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the Southeast 1 /4 of said Section 10; thence North 00 ° 17'12" West along the east line of said Section 10, 597.76 feet; thence South 89 ° 27'00" West, 990.14 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map Volume 23, Pages 400 -402; thence North 00 ° 16'50" West along the west line of said Certified Survey Map and then along the west line of Wick Addition (a recorded subdivision plat), 311.10 feet to the northeast corner of University Heights (a recorded subdivision plat) and the point of beginning; Thence South 89 ° 22'32" West along the north line of said University Heights, 290.33 feet; thence North 00 ° 16'50" West, 416.80 feet to south line of the north '/2 of said Southeast %; thence South 89 ° 34'30 "East along said south line, 290.34 feet to the west line of said Wick Addition; thence South 00 ° 16'50" East along said west line, 415.15 feet to the point of beginning. Containing in all 125,275 s.f. (2.8759 acres) of land, more or less. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
