An ordinance amending the order of business of common council meetings.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 2.04.040 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby
amended to read as follows:
2.04.040 Order of business.* The order of business shall be:
A. Call to Order, -and Pledge of Allegiance, and Emergency Procedures;
B. Roll call;
C. Public comments on items on the Agenda not requiring a public hearing and on matters
which can be affected by Council action; ' =.. - . -. _ _ ... _ _ • _ • _ _
D. City Manager update;
HE. Showcase Janesville presentation:
EF. Minutes of previous meeting(s);
FG. Licenses, financial gain request(s), waiver of special assessment(s), monthly financial
report(s), citizen recognition(s) and proclamation(s), certified survey map(s), and liability claim(s). In
any order determined by the presiding officer.
GH. Old business;
HI. New business;
action.
J. Matters not on the agenda;
K. Adjournment.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the
public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
