ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -555
An ordinance changing and establishing the zoning classification of property located
adjoining the south boundary of TIF 35 located east of USH 51 South to M1.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is established
as M1, Light Industrial District:
Parcels A & B located in part of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and part of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Section 24, T.2N., R.12E., of the 4th P.M., Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin.
Described as follows:
Parcel A: Commencing at a concrete monument at the West 1/4 corner of said Section; thence
S.89 °04'46 "E. along the East -West centerline of said Section, 1877.37 feet to the SW corner of
a tract of land described in Document No. 1401543; thence N.0 °43'12 "W. along the West line of
said tract of land, 246.24 feet to an iron pin at the place of beginning for the land to be herein
described; thence N.89 °04'46 "W. 493.03 feet to an iron pin; thence N.62 °49'18 "W. 295.37 feet
to an iron pin; thence N.53 °41'09 "W. 316.17 feet to an iron pin on the North line of a parcel of
land described in Document No. 1401544; thence S.89 °04'46 "E. along said North line, 1006.67
feet to an iron pin on the NE corner of said parcel; thence S.0 °43'12 "E. along the East line of
said parcel and the West line of said tract, 313.93 feet to the place of beginning.
Parcel B: Commencing at a concrete monument at the West 1/4 corner of said Section, thence
S.89 °04'46 "E. 1877.37 feet to the SW corner of a tract of land described in Document No.
1401543; thence N.0 °43'12 "W. along the West line of said tract, 246.24 feet to an iron pin at the
place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence N.0 °43'12 "W. continuing along
said West line and along the East line of a parcel described in Document No. 1401544; a
distance of 313.93 feet to an iron pin at the NE corner of said Parcel; thence S.89 °04'46 "E.
586.39 feet to an iron pin; thence S.62 °23'53 "W. 657.17 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
