WHEREAS, Max E. Arney is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having diligently
served the people of the City of ]anesville and the community for thirty-one years, retiring as City
Assessor with the City Assessor's Office; and
WHEREAS, during Max E. Arney's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; having been
selected Division Employee of the Year in 2000; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Max E. Arney for his thirty-one years of loyal
public service.
