Recognition of En Route Music, Inc. as a "Janesville Good Citizen"
WHEREAS, En Route Music, Inc. is a Janesville musical group, started
in 1994, who primarily entertains youth, families, and senior
citizens; and
WHEREAS, En Route Music, Inc. uses musical entertainment as a medium
to provide positive and uplifting messages related to anti-drug,
anti-drinking and anti-smoking activities for Janesville's youth; and
WHEREAS, En Route Music, Inc. has volunteered their musical talents
to perform at several DARE program, "CHOICES" Assembly Programs,
National Night-Out and community special events; and
WHEREAS, En Route Music, Inc. has made a significant contribution to
improving the quality of life for Janesville's youth and adults
through their music, positive message and volunteer spirit; and
WHEREAS, En Route Music, Inc. has made a unique and special
contribution to the City of Janesville; and
WHEREAS, their contribution is in the finest tradition of "Good
Citizenship";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Janesville to express their appreciation to the members of En Route
Music, Inc. for their contribution to the City of Janesville and
hereby recognize the members as a
"Janesville Good Citizen"
