WHEREAS, Gerald G. Thompson is retiring from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty-one years, retiring
as a Storekeeper with the Operations Department; and
WHEREAS, during Gerald G. Thompson's employment with the City of ]anesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the people of the City of ]anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Gerald G. Thompson for his thirty-one years of
loyal public service.
