An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located within the 400
block of Midland Road from B4 to M1, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVlLLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from B4, Business Highway District, to M1, Light Industrial:
Part of the South ½ of the SE ¼ of Section 32, T.3N., R.13E. of the 4th P.M., City of
Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin.
Described as follows: Commencing at a disk in concrete at the South ¼ corner of said
Section 32; thence S.88°36'18"E. along the south line of the SE ¼ of said section,
920.09 feet; thence N.0°10'40"W., 765.92 feet to the point of beginning for the land to be
herein described; thence N.89°49'20"E., 565.13 feet; thence N.0°I 1'30"W., 535 feet
more or less to the north line of the South ½ of the SE ¼ of said section; thence
westerly along said north line, 600 feet more or less to the centerline of Midland Road;
thence S.0°10'40"E. along the centerline of Midland Road, 552 feet more or less; thence
easterly 35 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
SECTION I1. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
