Whereas, Sandra L. Christner is retiring from City of Janesville employment after
having diligently served the people of the Ci
Janesville of Janesville Transit System; and unity for over thirty -
three years retiring as a Bus Driver with the
Whereas, during Sandra L. Christner's employment with the City of Janesville,
the
she provided exemplary professional service and de skill s a r nd ability, n honesty, and
duties of her position, which she pe rformed with
dedication; and
Whereas, in addition to the regular duties of her position, she selflessly

volunteered countless hours of her own serving e betterment

Employees Credit Union, numerous special study committees, and as an employee
representative; and,
Whereas, during her career with the Transit System, Sandra L. Christner earned
a reputation for outstanding customer service for friendly, outgoing, and considerate service to
her passengers as well as over 26 years of accident -free driving, equating to over one million
miles without an accident; and,
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Sandra L. Christner for her
thirty -three years of loyal public service.
