An ordinance requiring the display of fares in taxicabs, with a penalty and other relief for
violations thereof as set forth in JGO Section 5.80.170.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 5.80.102 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby created to read as follows:
"5.80.102 Fares - Display in Cab Required. All persons mandated by this
chapter to have a Municipal Taxicab Driver's License shall at all times conspicuously
and legibly post and display their fares, fees and other charges in writing inside the cab
within clear view of all passengers." and visible within four (/4) feet.
