2013-1003 RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -1003
Whereas, Lawrence J. Hainstock is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for twenty -
nine years; retiring as Fire Marshal with the City of Janesville Fire Department; and
Whereas, during Lawrence J. Hainstock's employment with the City of
Janesville, he served as a Firefighter, Driver - Operator, Paramedic; Fire Inspector and Fire
Marshal; and was a charter member of the department Dive - Rescue Team; and
Whereas, during Lawrence J. Hainstock's employment with the City of
Janesville, he received numerous commendations, including Firefighter of the Year; providing
exemplary professional service and demonstrating conscientious devotion and passion for
public safety, working tirelessly to ensure a safe and desirable living and working environment
for the citizens of Janesville; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville —
be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Lawrence J. Hainstock for his
twenty -nine years of loyal public service.
