A resolution releasing a portion of a sewer easement located on the east line of Lot 14 of
Eastwood Park Subdivision.
WHEREAS, a twenty (20) foot wide sewer easement was dedicated along the easterly line of
Lot 14 of Eastwood Park Subdivision recorded on April 13, 1965, Volume 22 of Plats, Page 29,
Document No. 686987 in the office of the Register of Deeds for Rock County, Wisconsin.
WHEREAS, the west 10 feet of said sewer easement has not been used for municipal facilities
and is no longer needed for public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the release of said portion of the existing sewer
easement will not be contrary to the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a portion of the sewer easement as described
below shall be released:
Located in the SE 1/4 of Section 30, T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4th P.M., City of
Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin described as follows:
The west 10 feet of a 20-foot wide sewer easement located on the east line of Lot 14 in
Eastwood Park Subdivision recorded on April 13, 1965, Volume 22 of Plats, Page 29,
Document No. 686987 in the office of the Register of Deeds for Rock County,
Wisconsin.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption of this resolution, the City Clerk is
directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the Register of Deeds of Rock County,
Wisconsin, thus granting the easement release as herein described.
