2013-999 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-999
A resolution recognizing Russ Steeber for his loyal and conscientious service to
the City of Janesville as a City Councilmember.
WHEREAS, Russ Steeber served the City of Janesville from 2001 to 2005 and 2007 to
2013 as a Member of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Steeber served as Council President in 2004; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Steeber served as Council Vice President in 2003 and 2011; and
WHEREAS, during his terms of office, Councilman Steeber served as a member of
various boards, committees, and commissions in the City; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Steeber's deep concern for the community, its citizens and their welfare
has characterized his tenure in office throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Steeber has always performed the duties of a member of the City
Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty, and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Janesville
presents this commendation to Russ Steeber in sincere appreciation for his loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville.
