A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATION
TO PURCHASE A LAWN MOWER FOR THE
JANESVILLE SPORTS COALTION, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Janesville leases park land to the Janesville Sports Coalition Inc., for
the purpose of maintaining youth sports fields, and
WHEREAS, the Janesvilie Sports Coalition, Inc., is in need of a new lawn mower to continue
providing quality turf maintenance at the Youth Sports Complex, and
WHEREAS, the City's vehicle operation and maintenance account has sufficient funds to
purchase a new lawn mower on behalf of the Janesville Sports Coalition, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the Janesville Sports Coalition Inc., agrees to make annual payments to the City
of Janesville including principal and interest over the next nine years, and
WHEREAS, it is in the City's best interest to cooperate with the Janesville Sports Coalition,
Inc., on this equipment purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City of Janesville that
they hereby authorize and direct the City Manager, and/or his designee, to negotiate and enter into on
behalf of the City of Janesville the purchase of a lawn mower for the Janesville Sports Coalition, Inc.,
and enter into this transaction, and purpose as contemplated herein; to negotiate, execute and enter
into such additional documents, papers and forms on behalf of the City of Janesville as, from time to
time, may be necessary and/or desirable to effectuate such transaction and the intent of this
resolution as the City Manager may decide; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager and/or his designee are hereby
authorized to administratively whatever other action and make whatever minor changes to these
transactions, and related documents on behalf of the City of Janesville, that the City Manager, from
time to time, find necessary and/or desirable to effectuate the intent of this resolution.
