2013-971 RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -971
Whereas, Charles S. Meyer is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
twenty -one years; retiring as a Driver - Operator with the City of Janesville Fire
Department; and
Whereas, Charles S. Meyer is known and respected for his expertise in
physical conditioning and has been influential in furthering fitness and wellness
initiatives within the fire department; and
Whereas, during Charles S. Meyer's employment with the City of
Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious
devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity,
honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Charles S. Meyer for
his twenty -one years of loyal public service.
