2013-970 RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -970
Whereas, Kevin M. Castro is retiring from City of Janesville employment
after having diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for
twenty -eight years; retiring as a Lieutenant with the City of Janesville Fire Department;
and
Whereas, Kevin M. Castro has held a leadership position in the
Hazardous Materials Response Team, training and certifying team members; and
Whereas, Kevin M. Castro has delivered countless hours of fire safety
presentations to community members of all ages; and
Whereas, during Kevin M. Castro's employment with the City of
Janesville, he provided exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious
devotion to the duties of his position, which he performed with skill and ability, sincerity,
honesty, and dedication; and
Whereas, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of
Janesville be properly recognized;
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the people of the City of Janesville,
through the City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Kevin M. Castro for
his twenty -eight years of loyal public service.
