ORDINANCE NO. 2012 -529
An ordinance amending Janesville General Ordinance Section 3.20.130 Expenditure of
Room Tax Revenues Collected, with a penalty for violations thereof as set forth in
Section 3.20.140 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:

SECTION I. Section 3.20.130 (A) (1) of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. The City shall make payments from time to time during the year of the
revenue produced from a 3.4% room tax rate directly to the Janesville
Area Visitors and Convention Bureau (JAVCB)
SECTION II. Section 3.20.130 (B) of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby deleted and subsequent Sections renumbered accordingly.
SECTION III. This ordinance and its fees shall take effect at 12:00 o'clock a.m. on
January 1, 2013, the public interest, welfare, benefit and good so requiring, and the
Common Council so finding.
