An ordinance establishing the zoning classification of land located south and adjoining
Rockport Park Drive.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
established as R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District.
Lot 2 of Certified Survey Maps as recorded in Volume 1 on Page 201 of Certified Survey
Maps, and part of the NE.l/4 of the SW.1/4 of Section 3, T.2N., R. 12E. of the 4th P.M.,
Rock Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the
intersection of the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Rockport Park Drive and the East-
West centerline of Section 3, aforesaid, said point being 1701 feet more or less North
90o00' East of the West 1/4 comer of said Section 3; thence South 47017'50'' East along
said right-of-way line 324.09 feet to the place of beginning; thence continuing South
47017'50" East 208.0 feet; thence South 36058'38" West 436.3 feet; thence North
55°02'21'' West 253.8 feet; thence North 42042'08'' East 468.5 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 2.39 acres.
SECTION V. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
