2002-116ORDINANCE NO. 2002-116 An ordinance establishing the zoning classification of land located along John Paul Road and West Rotamer Road. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby established as R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District. Part of the East 1/2 of the NW. 1/4 and part of the NW. 1/4 of the NE. 1/4 of Section 8, T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4th P.M., Harmony Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Beginning at the North 1/4 comer of said Section 8; thence S.0°4Y45"E. along the North- South centerline of said Section, 962.19 feet to the most SW. comer of Lot One of a Certified Survey as recorded in Volume 12, pages 230 thru 232; thence S.64°31'15"E. along the Southwesterly line of said Lot, 13.02 feet to the most NW. comer of an existing tract; thence S.25°30'W. 280.63 feet to the most SW. comer of said tract; thence S.64°31'15"E. along the Southwesterly line of said tract, 140.97 feet to the relocated R.O.W. (right -of-way) line of John Paul Road (C.T.H. Y); thence S.27°11'25"W. along said R.O.W. line, 202.08 feet to the existing city limit line; thence N.64°31'15"W. along said existing city limit line, 1245.21 feet to the Easterly line of Wisconsin Department of Transportation property (formerly railroad property); thence N.29°39'30"E. along said Easterly line, 1086.3 feet to the North line of the NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence S.88°2Y15"E. along said North line, 648.76 feet to the place of beginning. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
