Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Janesville held in the Municipal Building on July
23, 2012. The meeting was called to order by City Council President Voskuil at 6:30 PM.
Council President Voskuil led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Council President Voskuil and Councilmembers Dongarra-Adams, Farrell, Kealy, and
Liebert. Absent: Councilmembers Severson and Steeber.
Councilmember Liebert, moved to convene into closed session, pursuant to Wisconsin Statute
Section 19.85(1)(g) for the purposes of meeting with legal counsel for the governmental body
who is rendering oral or written advice concerning consideration of establishing the negotiation,
bargaining, and/or settlement parameters, terms, and conditions concerning the worker
compensation death claim of John Somerville’s estate. The motion was seconded by
Councilmember Kealy, and passed unanimously.
The Council convened into closed session at 6:34 PM.
