2001-186 RESOLUTION NO. 2001-186
A resolution releasing a 30-foot ingress and egress easement located on property at 1900
Alden Road.
WltEREAS, a 30-foot wide ingress egress easement was dedicated in 1996 with the approval
of Certified Survey Map Document Number 1319349, Volume 20, Pages 14, 15 and 16,
Certified Survey Maps of Rock County, Wisconsin; and
WHEREAS, on 13 August 2001 the Janesville Plan Commission reviewed the release of this
easement and found it to be consistent with City plans but did not review the financial aspect
of this transaction.
WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the release of this easement will not be contrary to
the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said ingress and egress easement described
below shall be released:
Part of the SW IA of Section 19 T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4~ P.M., Harmony Township, Rock
County, Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the southwest comer of Lot 1 of Certified Survey
number 1319349 as recorded in Volume 20, Pages 14, 15 and 16; thence N.0°22'30"W. 30.0
feet; thence S.87°31' 15"E. 336.2 feet; thence S.0°22'30"E. 30.0 feet; thence N.87°31' 15"W.
336.2 feet to the place of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption of this resolution, the Ci.ty Clerk is
directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the Register of Deeds of Rock County,
Wisconsin, thus granting the easement release as herein described.
