A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A PERPETUAL LAND EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted File Resolution #2001-168 on
January 8, 2001 which authorized the vacation of Burns Avenue between Joseph Street
and Charles Street, and
WHEREAS, the property owner of Lot 14, Mr. Bill Wolf, is requesting a perpetual
land easement in Riverside Park to be used for filling and raising the grade to meet side
setback and flood plain requirements, and
WHEREAS, it is determined that this encroachment will not harm the park and is
in the best interest of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Janesville hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute a perpetual land easement
with Mr. Bill Wolf for Lot #14 in Mole Sadler Subdivision, City of Janesville Wisconsin.
