A resolution recognizing William T. Schneider for his loyal and
conscientious service to the City of Janesville as a City
Councilmember.
WHEREAS, William T. Schneider has served the City of Janesville
from 1989 to 2001 as a Member of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Schneider served as Council President in 1991 and
1996; and
WHEREAS, during his term of office, Mr. Schneider has served as a
member of various boards, committees, and commissions in the City;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Schneider's deep concern for the community, its
citizens and their welfare has characterized his tenure in office
throughout; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Schneider has always performed the duties of a member
of the City Council with an exemplary level of dedication, honesty,
and integrity;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Janesville presents this commendation to William T. Schneider in
sincere appreciation for his loyal and conscientious service to the
City of Janesville.
