WHEREAS, Lloyd M. Brueggeman is reUdng from the City of .lanesville employment after
having diligently sewed the people of the City of ]anesville and the community for thirty-one years,
serving in both the Uniformed Patrol Division and the Investigation Division, retiring as a Police
Sergeant with the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, during Lloyd M. Brueggeman's employment with the City of .lanesville, he
provided exemplary professional service and demonsl~'ated conscientious devotion to the duties of
his position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; serving as the
Police Department CdmeStoppers Coordinator and on the CdmeStoppers Board of Directors; having
been selected as the Police Department Officer of the Year in both 1981 and 1986; and having
received the Police Department Award of Excellence in 1994- and 1995; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of .lanesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the people of the City of ]anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Lloyd M. Brueggeman for his thirty-one years
of loyal public service.
