WHEREAS, Gerald A. Mikkelson has retired from City of Janesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of Janesville and the community for thirty-one years, retiring
as a Working Foreman with the Operations Department; and
WHEREAS, during Gerald A. Mikkelson's employment with the City of Janesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the people of the City of Janesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Gerald A. Mikkelson for his thirty-one years of
loyal public service.
