WHEREAS, Richard F. Harwick is retiring from City of ]anesville employment after having
diligently served the people of the City of ]anesville and the community as a Senior Engineering
Technician with the Engineering Department for thirty-eight years; and
WHEREAS, during Richard F. Harwick's employment with the City of ]anesville, he provided
exemplary professional service and demonstrated conscientious devotion to the duties of his
position, which he performed with competence, sincerity, honesty and dedication; and
WHEREAS, during his service to the community, Richard F. Harwick made significant
contributions in the areas of surveying, major utility and street construction and reconstruction, and
landfill construction; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that such commendable service to the City of Janesville be properly
recognized;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE FF RESOLVED that the people of the City of ]anesville, through the
City Council, do express their grateful appreciation to Richard F. Harwick for his thirty-eight years of
loyal public service.
