An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located within the 3700-3800
blocks of East Rotamer Road from Agriculture to R1 (Single and Two-Family Residence)
District.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from
Agriculture to R1:
PART OF THE NW. 1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N, R. 13E. OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY OF
JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the NW. comer of said Section 16; thence Easterly along the north line of the
NW. 1/4 of said Section, 560 feet; thence Southerly parallel with the West line of said NW. 1/4 of
said Section, 33 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be described; thence Easterly along a
line parallel with and 33 feet South from said North line, 1421 feet, more or less, to the East line
of the West ½ of the NE. 1/4 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence Southerly along said East
line, 425 feet; thence Westerly 110 feet; thence Northerly parallel with said East line, 318 feet;
thence Westerly parallel with said North line, 670 feet; thence Southerly, 223 feet; thence
Westerly parallel with said Northerly line, 640 feet, more or less to a line that is parallel with and
560 feet East fi'om said West line; thence Northerly along said line, 330 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 7.6 acres, more or less.
