99-1267ORDINANCE NO. 99-1267 An ordinance annexing territory in Section 12 and Section 13, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., Town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin and Section 18, T.2N., R.13E. of the 4th P.M., Town of LaPrairie, Rock County, Wisconsin. WHEREAS, a petition signed by all the owners of all the land within such territory proposed to be annexed has been filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, there is 1 elector residing in the territory who has signed the annexation petition; and WltEREAS, the necessary notices have been duly prepared, provided and served as required by law to all persons affected; and WHEREAS, this ordinance does not contain temporary zoning; and WHEREAS, the Department of Administration has not found the proposed annexation to be against the public interest; and WHEREAS, the Common Council has determined that this annexation is in the public interest. NOW THEREFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The territory described as follows is hereby annexed to the City of Janesville. Parcel A: The South l/z of the SE lA of Section 12, T.2N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., Rock Township, Rock County, Wisconsin, excepting the northerly 50 acres therefrom, also excepting the east 40.0 feet therefrom. Parcel B: Part of the NE lA of Section 13, T.2N., R.12E., Rock Township (including Lot One, Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 11, Pages 121 and 122) and Part of the NW lA of Section 18, T.2N., R. 13E., LaPrairie Township, both being of the 4~h P.M., Rock County, Wisconsin. Described as follows: Beginning at the North lA Comer of said Section 13; thence S.88°47'35"E. along the North Line of the NE lA of said Section, 2525.17 feet to a line parallel with and 40.0 feet West of the East Line of the NE ~A of said Section 13; thence S.0°05'50"E. along said parallel line, 628.93 feet to the South Line of Venture Drive extended Westerly; thence S.89°44'30"E. along said extended line, 73.0 feet; thence S.0°05'50"E. along a line parallel to and 33.0 feet East of said East Line, 1392.31 feet; thence N.88°41 '50"W. along the North Line of an existing 4.5 acre tract and its Easterly extension, 523.06 feet to the NW Comer of said tract; thence S.0°05'50"E., 400.0 feet to the SW comer of said tract; thence S.88°41 '50"E. along the South Line of said tract, 450.04 feet to a line parallel with and 40.0 feet West of said East Line of said NE. 1/4; thence S.0°05'50"E. along said parallel line, 90.31 feet to a vision triangle for S.T.H. "351 "; thence S.59°57'30"W along said vision triangle, 161.45 feet to the North Line of S.T.H. "351 "; thence N.88°41 '40"W. along said North Line, 2387.61 feet, to the West Line of said NE. 1/4 of said Section 13, thence N.0°02'50"W. along said West Line, 2589.84 feet to the place of beginning. SECTION H. After this annexation becomes effective, the above described property shall be exempt from and not subject to fitrther taxation and assessments in the Town of Rock and LaPrairie and thence forth shall be subject to taxation and assessment as part of the City of Janesville for any and all purpose provided by law. ORDINANCE NO. 99-1267 Page 2 SECTION HI. All the territory annexed by this ordinance is hereby made part of Ward 37 of the City of Janesville. SECTION IV.
