An Ordinance amending Section 9.34.080 A. of the Janesville Code of General Ordinances
to increase Police response fees for a false alarm, with a penalty for violations thereof as set
forth in Section 9.34.110.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 9.34.080 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"9.34.080 Police response fee.
A. There shall be imposed a fee for each police response to a false alarm. Such fee for
each premises shall be twenty ~,','z ~zll-,.rg forty dollars for the first response in any calendar year,
.... ~ ...... s~xty dollars for the second response in any calendar year, s~a~del4s~ ninety
dollars for the third response in any calendar year and one hun~re~ ~c!!ar: one hundred fifteen
dollars for the fourth and each subsequent response in that calendar year, except that the fee shall
be ~ two hundred fifteen dollars for each and every response during a
probationary period."
