2000-39REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2000-39 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located within the 500-700 blocks of Kellogg Avenue from R3 to M2 with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from R3, General Residence District, to M2, General Industrial District subject to the installation o fa landscape planting buffer along the perimeter of the property by fall 2000 as illustrated on the landscape plan approved by the Site Plan Review Coordinator and dated 18 July 2000. Part of the NW. 1/4 and the NE.l/4 of Section 12, T.2N., R. 12E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commencing at the center of aforesaid Section 12 and the point of begiuning for the land herein described; thence east along the centerline of said Section 296 feet more or less to the intersection of said centerline with the centerline of the west leg of South Jackson Street; thence north 330 feet along said cen~erline of South Jackson Street; thence west and parallel to the east- west centerline of said Section 12 170 feet; thence south and parallel to said centerline of South Jackson Street 177 feet; thence west and parallel to the east-west centerline of said Section 12 1,448 feet mom or less to the east line of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey Map Document No. 809879 as recorded in Volume 3, Pages 291-293 of Certified Survey Maps of Rock County, Wisconsin; thence south along said east line 153 feet more or less to the east-west centefline of said Section 12; thence east along said centerline 1,322 feet more or less to the center of said Section 12 and the point of beginning. SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
