An ordinance changing the zoning classification of properties at the southeast and
northeast corners of Black Bridge Road and USH 51 from M1 to B2 and Agriculture with
Parking Overlay, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in
Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from M1, Light Industrial District, to B2, Community Shopping District:
Part of the SW¼ of the SW¼ of Section 24 T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4t~ P.M., Harmony Township,
Rock County, Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the South ¼ Comer of said Section 24; thence
westerly along the south line of the SW ¼ of said Section 24, 1400' more or less to a point along
the centefline of the Soo Line railroad property right-of-way, also being the point of beginning;
thence northerly along said centerline to the intersection of said centefline and the centerline of
the Black Bridge Road right-of-way; thence southwesterly along the centefline of the Black
Bridge Road right-of-way to a point along the centefline of the North Parker Drive right-of-way;
thence southerly along the centefline of the North Parker Drive right-of-way 1062' more or less
to a point along the south line of the SW ¼ of said Section 24; thence easterly along the south
line of said SW ¼ of said Section 24, 832' more or less to the point of beginning.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from Mi, Light Industrial District, to A, Agriculture District with Parking Overlay:
Part of the SW¼ of the SW¼ of Section 24 T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4th P.M., Harmony Township,
Rock County, Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the South ¼ Comer of said Section 24; thence
westerly along the south line of the SW ¼ of said Section 24, 1400' more or less to a point along
the centerline of the Soo Line railroad property right-of-way; thence northerly along said
centerline to the intersection of said centerline and the centerline of the Black Bridge Road right-
of-way, also being the point of beginning; thence continuing along the centerline of the Soo Line
railroad right-of-way to a point along the south line of the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of said Section
24; thence westerly along the south line of said NW ¼ of said SW ¼ of said section 24 to a point
along the centerline of the North Parker Drive right-of-way; thence southerly along said
centerline to a point along the centerline of the Black Bridge Road right-of-way; thence
northwesterly along the centerline of the Black Bridge Road right-of-way to the point of
beginning.

SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
