An ordinance establishing the zoning classification of land located within the 3100 block of
McCormick Drive to B4 and M1 upon annexation.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby established as
B4, Business Highway District:
PART OF THE NW.I/4 OF THE NE.l/4 OF SECTION 8, T.2N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TM P.M.,
HARMONY TOWNSHIP, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the North 1/4 comer of said Section 8; thence S.88°10'15"E. along the North line of
the NE.l/4 of said Section, 1323.77 feet to the NE. comer of the NW. 1/4 of the NE.l/4 of said
Section; thence S.0°42'45"E. along the East line of said NW. 1/4 of the NE.l/4 of said Section, 672.0
feet to the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence continuing S.0°42'45"E.
along said East line, 650.88 feet to the Northerly line of McCormick Drive; thence N.47°39'W.
along said Northerly line, 188.89 feet to an angle in said Northerly line; thence N.64°31'I 5"W.
continuing along said Northerly line 466.17 feet; thence N.25°33'05"E. 393.70 feet; thence
S.85°1 l'15"E. 383.78 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 5.48 acres.
SECTION II. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby established as
M1, Light Industrial District:

HARMONY TOWNSHIP, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
Commencing at the North ¼ comer of said Section 8; thence S.88°10'15"E. along the North line of
the NE.l/4 of said Section 1323.77 feet to the NE. comer of the NW. 1/4 of the NE.l/4 of said
Section; thence S.0°42'45"E. along the East line of said NW. 1/4 of the NE. 1/4 of said Section,
1322.88 feet to the Northerly line of McCormick Drive; thence N.47°39'W. along said Northerly
line 188.89 feet to an angle in said Northerly line; thence N.64% l'15"W, continuing along said
Northerly line 466.17 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence
continuing N.64°3 l'15"W, along said Northerly line 180.0 feet; thence N.25°28'45"E. 325.55 feet;
thence S.85°11'15"E. 192.49 feet; thence N.25°33'05"W. 393.70 feet to the place of beginning.
Containing 1.486 acres.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power
so requiring.
