2000-12REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2000-12 An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at south of Rotamer Road and west of North Wright Road, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville. THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed from RI, Single and Two-family Residence District, to R1D, Two-family Residence District: PART OF THE WEST 3/4 OF THE NORTH 1/2 OF THE NW. 1/4 OF SECTION 16, T.3N., R. 13E. OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY OF JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN. DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the NW. comer of said Section 16; thence S.88°29'E. along the North line of the NW. 1/4 of said Section, 300 feet to the NE. Comer of a tract of land conveyed to Charles Cottam; thence S.0°55'E. along the East line of said tract, 183.03 feet to the place of beginning for the land to be herein described; thence S.88°29'E. parallel with said North line, 900 feet, more or less to the West line of a Certified Survey Map as recorded in Volume 22, pages 17 thru 19; thence S.0°51'54"E. along said West line, 666 feet to the SW. Comer of said Certified Survey Map; thence S.89°29'E. 250 feet to the SE. Comer of said Certified Survey Map; thence S.53 °48'E. 150.5 feet to the East line of North Wright Road; thence S.88°30'55"E. 280 feet; thence S.0°52'05"E. 228 feet; thence S.83°12'E. 131.2 feet to the East line of the West 3/4 of the North 1/2 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence S.0°52'05"E. along said East line, 144.2 feet to the SE. Comer of said West 3/4 of said North 1/2 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section; thence N.88°30'55"W. along the South line of said North 1/2 of said NW. 1/4 of said Section, 431.2 feet to said East line of said North Wright Road; thence N.36° 14'W. 170.4 feet to the West line of said North Wright Road; thence N.88 °26'15"W. 899.5 feet; thence N.13 °02'W. 738.5 feet; thence Northwesterly 102 feet, more or less to the SE. Comer of said Charles Cottam tract; thence N.0°55'W. 252.6 feet to the place of beginning. Containing 23.66 acres. SECTION II. The rezoning of the above described area is condition upon its development under the PUD regulations of Chapter 18 of the Janesville Code of General Ordinances. That PUD shall include all the lands included in a request for PUD approval as reviewed by the Janesville Plan Commission on 20 March 2000. SECTION Ill. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police power so requiring.
