An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at the northeast corner
of West Rotamer Road and Whitney Street from O1, Office/Residence District to R1, Single-
Family and Two-Family Residence District, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a
violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from O1 to RI:
Commencing at the northeast comer of Lot 1 of a Certified Survey Map Document Number
1403412 as recorded in Volume 22, Pages 92 - 95 of Certified Survey Maps of Rock County,
Wisconsin, and the point of beginning for the land herein described: thence N 57034, W 40.0
feet; thence S 62o34'05" W 263.69 feet; thence S 20° E 40.0 feet; thence S 64o32'20" W 166.61
feet; thence S 36o30'25" E 250.0 feet; thence N 37°46'40" E 256.22 feet; thence N 25°27'10" E
230.0 feet to the northeast corner of said Lot 1 and the point of beginning. Including also the
adjoining one-half right-of-way of West Rotamer Road.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
