2000-7ORDINANCE NO. 2000-7
An ordinance establishing greater spacing requirements for cabarets located within the
City of Janesville, with a penalty of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, and/or
injunctive relief, for each violation.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 18.36.040 B.4.b.2.III of the Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Janesville is hereby repealed and recreated to read as follows:
III. The cabaret shall be located at least ~0 ~09~ feet from any established
public school, parochial school, hospital, church, licensed youth entertainment center,

Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
