An ordinance changing the zoning classification of property located at 3500
Kennedy Road, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set
forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from A, Agriculture District, to M1, Light Industrial District:
Part of the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 18, T.3N., R. 13E. of the 4th
P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Kennedy Road and the
northwesterly right-of-way of the Soo Line Railroad; thence Northeasterly
along said railroad right-of-way 686.25 feet; thence west 522.32 feet to the
centerline of Kennedy Road; thence south along said centerline 445 feet
more or less to the point of beginning. Containing 2.36 acres more or less.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
