An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located at the southwest
corner of Sandhill Drive and Wright Road from R1 to R3 with a penalty and
injunctive relieffor a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 ofthe
Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS
FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District to R3, General Residence
District:
OUTLOT 1 OF A CERTIFIED SURVEY MAP AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 25, PAGES
273 THRU 275 AND PART OF THE SW.1/4 OF SECTION 16, ALSO PART OF THE
SE.1/4 OF SECTION 17, ALL IN T.3N., R.13E. OF THE 4TH P.M., CITY OF
JANESVILLE, ROCK COUNTY, WISCONSIN.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Sandhill
Drive and North Wright Road; thence S.27"54'03"W. along said centerline of said North
Wright Road, 511.0 feet; thence N.62005'57"W. parallel with centerline of said Sandhill
Drive, 382.7 feet; thence N.16014'20'W. 221.56 feet; thence N.27"54'03"E. parallel
with the centerline of said North Wright Road, 352.00 feet to said centerline of said
Sandhill Drive; thence S.62005'57"E. along said centerline, 537.00 feet to the place of
beginning. Containing 6.02 acres.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
