REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2007-387
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located south of Delavan
Drive between Bouchard Avenue and Pliny Avenue from R2 to M2 with a penalty and
injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from R2, Limited General Residence District to M2, General Industrial District subject to a
condition that the outdoor storage yard area be located within a 6-foot high opaque fence
enclosure setback 40-feet from the west property line, and 20-feet from the south property
line, as illustrated on the attached site plan dated October 9, 2007 (see Exhibit A).
Part of the NWY. of Section 6, T.2N., R.13E. of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin described as follows:
Lots 100 and 133 of Carrington's Crown Addition within the City of Janesville, Rock County,
Wisconsin. Also including that portion of right-of-way adjacent to and 33 feet east of said Lot
133.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
