An ordinance amending the zoning ordinance to allow the location and operation of power
generating equipment or facilities as a conditional use within the M1, Light Industrial and
the M2, General Industrial Districts, with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation
thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 18.36.050 B. 1 .c. of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby amended by adding the following:

SECTION II. Section 18.36.050 B. 2.c. of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville is hereby amended by adding the following:

not to exceed two years
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring."
