REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2007-370
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located south of Delavan
Drive between Bouchard Avenue and Pliny Avenue from R2 to M2 with a penalty
and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the
Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCil OF THE CITY OF JANESVlllE DO ORDAIN AS
FOllOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from R2, Limited General Residence District to M2, General Industrial District
subject to a condition that the outdoor storage yard area be located within a 6-foot high
opaque fenced enclosure setback 40 feet from the perimeter of the property adjoining
the residential zone district to the west and setback 25 feet from Delavan Drive, as
illustrated on the site plan dated July 28, 2007 labeled Exhibit A.
Located in the NW Y. of Section 6, T.2N, R.13E of the 4th P.M., City of Janesville, Rock
County, Wisconsin described as follows:
Lots 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99,134,135,136,137 and 138 of Carrington's Crown Addition,
in the City of Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin; excepting therefrom that part of said
Lots 94 and 95 described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Lot
94; thence Easterly along the North line of said Lot 94, 80 feet to a point; thence
Southerly to a point in the South line of said Lot 95, 80 feet East of the Southwest
corner of said Lot 95; thence West, along the South line of said Lot 95, 80 feet to the
Southwest corner of said Lot 95; thence Northerly along the West line of said Lots 94
and 95, to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
