ORDINANCE NO. 2007-369
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located at 120 South Division
Street from 02 to R1 with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as set forth
in Section 18.28.010 ofthe Code of General Ordinances of the City of Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby changed
from 02, Central Office Residence District to R1, Single and Two-Family Residence District:
Part of the NE Y. of Section 36 T.3N., R.12E. of the 4th P.M., Janesville Township, Rock County,
Wisconsin.
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Commencing at the eastern most corner of Lot 1, Block 27 of the
Original Plat of Janesville; thence northwest along the northeast line of said Lot 1 a distance of
84 feet to the place of beginning; thence southwest and parallel to the northwest line of said Lot
1 a distance of 85 feet; thence southeast and parallel to the southwest line of said Lot 1 a
distance of 84 feet; thence continuing southeast a distance of 33 feet to the centerline of East
Van Buren Street; thence northeast along said centerline a distance of 118 feet to the centerline
of South Division Street; thence northwest along said centerline a distance of 117 feet; thence
southwest a distance of 33 feet to the place of beginning.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the Common
Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public benefit, and police
power so requiring.
