REVISED ORDINANCE NO. 2007-366
An ordinance changing the zoning classification of land located at 303 Center
Avenue from R2 to 83 with a penalty and injunctive relief for a violation thereof as
set forth in Section 18.28.010 of the Code of General Ordinances of the City of
Janesville.
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JANESVILLE DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The zoning classification of the following described property is hereby
changed from R2, Limited General Residence District to B3, General Commercial
District.
Palmer & Sutherland's Addition, West half of Lot 14, Block 13
SECTION II. The zoning change is subject to compliance with the following conditions:
1. The limitation of permitted signage to 10 square feet in area.
2. A "no parking" sign shall be installed in the terrace to prohibit on-street parking
between the driveway of the subject property and the driveway of the adjoining
residence at 915 W. Holmes Street.
3. The area devoted to the hair salon within the residence shall be limited to less than
300 square feet.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the
Common Council, the public health, welfare, peace, tranquility, good order, public
benefit, and police power so requiring.
